This mod introduces Cooking Talents and Weaknesses, custom traits that influence how well your Sim performs while cooking.
Requirements
Base Game Required
Script file included (Place it no more than one folder deep!)
How It Works
Phone Option: Choose your Sim’s cooking trait (Good, Bad, or Neutral) directly from the phone's Home menu.
Discovery System: Sims will figure it out themselves after cooking a few times, triggering a custom notification.
Social Reactions: Ask other Sims about their cooking skills, thank the chef, or let them vent about their burned meals.
Included Traits
Good Cook
Good Cooks gain a hidden boost to their cooking performance. They make high quality meals more often, get confident moodlets while cooking, and can brag about their talents.
Bad Cook
Bad Cooks suffer a hidden penalty while cooking. Even at max skill, they’ll never be great. They’re more likely to feel embarrassed or uncomfortable, and can complain about their struggles.
Neutral Cook
No trait-based modifier, just raw skill. These Sims rely entirely on their Cooking Skill level without bias.
Features
Custom Trait System: Choose or discover cooking skill tendencies.
Realistic Meal Outcomes: Traits override skill output for natural or flawed results.
New Social Interactions: Brag, Complain, and Ask About Cooking Ability.
Gameplay Notifications: Sims can find out if they’re a good or bad cook on their own.

Smelling and reacting to poor cooking.
Social interactions to thank for food, complain about taste, etc...

How to Install
Download the mod and unzip it.
Put the files in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods
Enable both Mods and Script Mods in Game Options.
Load your game and get cooking!
