How to get started / Use this mod!

Important:

Step 1: Get the Aspiration, the Streamer Trait, or Both!

Step 2: Click on your sim to see the Switch Menu. If you did not get the trait you will unlock your menu by streaming onthe pc, console, or tripod. If you chose the trait you have the option to stream on your phone.

Streaming Pros & Cons

For Big Streamers

You are less likely to get bans for your actions since you bring so much to our platform we will give you many warnings.
We will showcase you on the front page every single stream to bring you even more followers!
You are more likely to receive way more donations and bigger donations compared to a smaller Switch streamer.
Your community will be more welcoming compared to smaller Switch streamers.
You are more likely to receive a lot of hate comments from viewers who are jealous of your success.
You will get more subscribers naturally compared to smaller streamers.
You are less likely to react to subscribers and donations not because you are unappreciative but because you will get more.

For Smaller Streamers

You are most likely to get banned for your actions as you are new to our platform we are really strict.
You will most likely get very few donations and very small donations since you are a smaller streamer.
You are less likely to get hateful comments since you are a smaller streamer.
You are less likely to get more viewers since we mostly display our bigger content creators.
You won't gain subscribers as quickly compared to bigger streamers but you can work for it.
You are most likely to react to subscribers and donations for obvious reasons.

You will unlock social interactions after your very first stream if you do not have the trait! There is also a chance that people around you will celebrate your donations and subs with you!

Switch Rules

Do not wear inappropriate clothing.
You should never be nude for any circumstances.
You should never be in swimwear at home during a stream unless you are inside of a hot tub or pool. We do actually allow swimwear if you are at a beach or pool area.
We do not allow bullying, excessive arguments, or fighting on stream as it is very unprofessional and not the image we want for our streaming platform.

NPC Switch Streamers

What are NPC Streamers?

Npc streamers are premade sims that will enter into your world when you use the "collab" option. Which you unlock by streaming, reaching out on your switch menu, or from hiring a manager.

How to Stream Together?

When they visit your home, you can then begin to stream, and if they are nearby they will interact with your stream, read comments, and even join streaming with you! If they are not nearby they will just simply be tending to their needs, you can call them over, or chat with them.

Streamer Hangout Lot Trait?

This lot trait spawns Switch streamers. NPC streamers and streamers you have placed into your world with the trait. But, if you haven't invited the NPC streamers over using the collab menu, then the premade NPC sims will not be inside of your world yet. Which means they will not show up for the hangout lot trait.

My channel grew after I messed up a simple recipe on stream, but instead of panicking, I laughed it off and turned it into a cozy community night. People said my streams felt like a safe place to relax, so I kept building that kind of space. Now I stream cooking, cozy games, advice talks, IRL chats, and community nights full-time.

How to Collab

NPC Switch Streamers

Open your Switch menu and look for a "collab with streamer" menu. If you don't see this menu that means that no streamer has reached out to collab with you. You can check daily and wait for them to reach out to you or reach out to them yourself using the "reach out to streamers" interaction in the switch menu.
Select a streamer and wait for them to show up. The camera will pan to them and they will do a cute animation based on their personality.
When the streamer arrives you can start the stream and chat will notice that the streamer is there which will get you more followers/subscribers/donations. They will stay for 8 hours at most and will leave when their needs/motives are low but you can always invite them back if they are still open for a collab throught the menu or phone.

Custom Made Streamers

Make sure the sim that you want to collab with has the streamer trait.
Invite them over or if they live with you just have them around when you start the stream and the chat will recognize them.

If the menu is empty just keep trying to reach out to streamers. The higher your fame level is the higher chance that they will all want to work with you.

Current Features

Streaming: You can stream from your phone, tripod, console, and computer!
NPC Streamers: You can meet NPC streamers and invite them over to your house to collab. You don't have to worry about socializing with them, they will join your stream on their own.
Stream Control: You can click on your sim to access stream interactions while streaming.
Casual Streaming: A brand new way to stream on your computer! Just go on any computer and look for the casual livestream menu.
Three of these options require high school years pack so they will not show if you do not own that pack.
Stream Collaborations: Sims around you will notice you are streaming, streamers will join your stream, join your gaming session on their phones, sims will read your chat, your comments, and will even celebrate with you when you get donations and subscribers.

If a sim is near a streamer that is streaming, they can interact with chat, or even join the stream! If it is your sim, click on your own sim, choose "Join Stream" and pick an option.

Hire Staff: Get help by hiring a manager, editor, and even moderators! They will help you go viral, build connections, and access more opportunities!
Variety Streaming: You can be a cozy streamer, gamer, IRL streamer, musician, artist, mobile streamer, and more!
Smart Live Comments: There are 5000 comments even though you might end up with similar ones. The viewers are almost fully aware of what you are doing and will react to what you're doing.
Streamer Hangout: Streamers that you collab with or placed into your world (with the streamer trait) will show up at streamer hangouts. NPC streamers won't show up unless you collab with them atleast once.
Donations: The main source of income that will come with comments from your viewers.
Streamer Feelings: This mod adds different moodlets and buffs to express the emotions streamers feel. I didn't go too deep inside the negative emotions because I want this mod to mostly showcase the positive part of being a streamer.
Get banned: This mod adds an opportunity to get banned. Your manager can help you get rid of your ban, you can stream an apology, or appeal it on your phone.
Offline Interactions: You can do a few interactions when you aren't streaming by clicking on your sim. They will succeed based on skill level and fame/followers.
Subscribers: You will be paid weekly for having subscribers. You will be paid $10-25 per subscriber depending on their tier. You can make a maximum of $100k a week from subs alone. You will have to manually cash out.
Streaming & Fan Service Skills: These skills give your sims more opportunities like increased income, more success with interactions, but the fan service skill comes with downsides of more parasocial realtionships.
Events & Sponsorships: Streamers can get invited to different events and to film for sponsors. This can earn them more fame, followers, and money!

Types of Streaming

Phone Streaming

Stream on the go anywhere with your phone.
Go live and apologize to fans.

Computer & Console Streaming

Live stream from your PC/Console with the live stream options.
Interact with your viewers by clicking on your sim while streaming on console/pc.
Stream multiplayer with your friends on PC. This will allow you to build your relationship with them. You can even hear them speaking.
Skip gaming and choose cozy streaming options!

Drone Streaming

You can pretty much do almost anything you want to do when you're drone streaming and the chat will pick up on it.
There are no interactions on the drone itself but there are some when you click on your sim when you are streaming with the drone.
You can interact with your followers, tell a story, and even play an advertisement after you have completed your first stream by clicking on your sim. I advise you do an interaction like "sitting, eating, watch tv, etc.." before you click interact so that the sim will multitask.
I adjusted the drone so that it faces you instead of being behind you to make it more realistic.

Tripod Streaming ( Moschino Pack Needed )

Every interaction is based only on the tripod.
You can stream a clothing haul, just chatting, emotional story, romantic story, scary story, singing stream, or recent storytime. When the interaction end so does the stream but they are two hours long.

Streaming Stuck?

If you're having issues with the stream stopping just click the stop streaming option on the menu.
If the stop streaming button doesn't work it will automatically stop when your sim is bathing/showering, sleeping, or going to work.
Sims shouldn't autonomously stream unless they are in the career that enables it that was created by EA.
